Abstract- A system for dynamic 3D motion analysis of the human foot and ankle complex is presented here. Preliminary testing indicates that this system is suitably accurate and capable of producing repeatable results. Static analysis shows a resolution and accuracy of as 0.86± 0.13 mm and 98.9% respectively. Dynamic testing has yielded an overall accuracy of 99.34%. Spectral analysis indicates that a 6 Hz low-pass filter as used in clinical applications is appropriate for this system.
