Ultranet HD
MX Ultranet HD
MX Ultranet HD is the new core unit in the MX family which links your MX cameras and capture PC. It builds on the success of the MX Ultranet by adding more convenience and connectivity and enables you to configure your Vicon system more economically by requiring fewer hardware units.
CONNECT EVERYTHING
Ultranet HD introduces new concepts to the Ultranet such as an eight-port Ethernet switch for connection to Basler GigE cameras. Not only can you connect GigE cameras, each Ultranet can be customized to your studio or laboratory’s needs.
• For Life Science professionals, the Ultranet will be configured with a 64-channel analog card to connect and sync Force plates and EMG as well as your MX cameras.
• For animation professionals, the Ultranet will include timecode and genlock options to sync reference video with mocap data.
• A standard Ultranet HD is available for users who don’t require any additional options.
HIGH DEFINITION COMPLIANT
Ultranet HD enables you to sync high definition studio equipment to HD compliant timecode. This means high end production users shooting on the latest generation technology can output to an array of sync formats including 23.976 fps and 24p (24.00 fps) for film as well as normal analog SD standards. Having everything in your production pipeline run at the same frame rate means you get high quality data on time, every time.
CONNECT MORE
A single Ultranet HD enables you to connect, power and synchronize up to 10 MX cameras regardless of whether analog acquisition is required or not. Minimizing space, cable and power requirements means more convenience.
SCALABLE ARCHITECTURE
No matter how your motion capture needs evolve, it’s always possible to expand and upgrade your MX system. Connect up to 244 cameras on a single system and an unlimited number by combining two or more systems.
HIGH DATA BANDWIDTH
Using a GigaBit Ethernet connection, the Ultranet HD ensures the MX system has the highest data rate and throughput efficiency of any motion capture system available.
SYNCRONIZE EVERYTHING
Ultranet HD provides synchronization not only to the connected MX cameras and analog acquisition, but also to reference video and other measurement equipment that can receive sync pulses. In addition to the eight programmable sync ports, four of these ports come with power so you can connect without having to set up power separately.
One box for everything – this is as easy as it gets.
