Remote Video Sync Unit

The Remote Video Synchronization Unit (RVSU) is a portable device used to synchronize digital camcorders with the Vicon Motus software. Triggered via a thumb-switch or TTL input, the RVSU generates a 1000Hz audio tone that is broadcast to each camcorder and simultaneously recorded on the audio track.

In addition, a 5 volt TTL signal is generated that can be used to synchronize data from analog sensors. When you need portability or when running cables between camcorders for genlock is not possible, the RVSU provides the most accurate synchronization results. In the field or in the lab, synchronizing multiple digital camcorders has never been easier.
