The Performance Pack is the latest addition to the MX camera range, offering you more performance, more power and more fidelity than ever before.

Consisting of the new high powered Hyper Strobe and custom-built Vicon lens, the Performance Pack enables you to push the boundaries of your Vicon system.

CUSTOM-BUILT FOR MOTION CAPTURE
Building on the success of Vicon Vegas sensor, the Vicon lens is the world’s first camera lens designed specifically for motion capture. A large aperture on the Vicon lens allows detailed tracking of small markers within large volumes with complete accuracy.

SIMPLER TO SET UP
The Vicon lens ensures that the entire image is evenly illuminated, not just the center, so the days of challenging sets ups in large volumes are gone. The Vicon lens makes system set up much simpler because the marker brightness is more even across the field of view.

SAVES YOU TIME
Adjusting lens focal properties on traditional lenses has been difficult. The redesigned back focus mechanism of the Vicon lens saves you time by making lens focal properties much easier to adjust when fitted to a Vicon camera.

During challenging set ups, adjusting software camera parameters can be time consuming. The LED array on the Hyper Strobe has been designed to evenly illuminate the field of view of the F-Series camera when fitted with lenses of 16mm or longer focal lengths. Having even illumination in the field of view minimizes the time needed to adjust software camera parameters.

IMPROVED ACCURACY
The Hyper Strobe is 2.5 times brighter than standard visible strobes and 5 times brighter than Near Infrared strobes. Smaller markers are more easily identified with increased brightness, enabling accurate facial capture with minimal data clean up. Having less data to clean means you can get on with the important work.

The Hyper Strobe enables your Vicon cameras to be operated in excess of 120fps more accurately than standard strobes. Capturing fast game and sport moves such as golf swings, horse capture and pitching is now achievable without losing image quality.

The Performance Pack is a must if you require accurate facial capture in large volumes, have challenging system set ups or need to accurately capture fast movements.
