FULL FRAME SPEED
All Vicon MX cameras are built for speed at their full frame resolutions - 370fps for the 4 Megapixel F40, 240fps for the MX-3+ and a massive 500fps for the 2 Megapixel F20. On top of this all the cameras can be run at speeds up to 2000fps at reduced, windowed resolutions for particularly high speed applications.

SHUTTERED
All MX cameras offer an electronic freeze frame shutter, removing motion blur and making the cameras tolerant of on-set or laboratory ambient light. This is made possible in the high resolution F-series cameras through the all new Vicon Vegas sensors, the first custom-built motion capture sensors. Never before has there been so much resolution with a real shutter.

ULTIMATE STROBES
MX cameras are the first motion capture cameras to use highly efficient and powerful surface-mount LEDs. The strobes spread light more evenly throughout the volume making it easier to set up and use your Vicon system. Not only that, the firing of the strobe is timed perfectly to take advantage of the freeze frame shutter, now standard on every Vicon MX camera, creating a crystal clear image.

ON BOARD PROCESSORS
MX cameras are truly smart cameras containing not just one but three high speed on-board processors. This means you get great data at speeds up to 136,000 markers per second - 66% up on the MX-40+ - that's even finer detail and even greater precision than ever before.

FULL MARKER GRAYSCALE
MX cameras use every pixel of grayscale information to locate the marker's 2D center and calculate its radius - not just edge grayscale information. With all this extra pixel information, MX cameras fit a circle more precisely around the marker image significantly improving system accuracy. If you want precision, you want full marker grayscale.
